Programme Information
The training sessions shown are for guidance purposes only. Each represents a session
which we have undertaken, but all may be adapted to suit individual needs or used as
a basis to construct a course to meet your own requirements.
Sessions are regularly provided for importers and exporters, as well as freight
forwarders and other associations. Customers include a wide range of UK based
multi-national companies, trade associations and transport businesses.
The notes below are intended for guidance on a single day long course only, longer
sessions of up to a weeks duration are often undertaken to suit customer needs.
Many companies are unable to release delegates during the working week, we are able therefore to undertake
sessions at weekends if needed.
- Each day consists of start at 0930 finish at 1630 with 30 minutes for lunch
and 15 minute breaks for tea and coffee am and pm, this allows time for travel
and desk checking where appropriate.
- Delegates are expected to bring calculators pens and note pads. We will
supply handouts at the end of each session.
- At the end of each day, time will be set aside for an evaluation of the day and
an individual self assessment paper.
- All sessions would be run on a "workshop" basis with delegates participating
in role playing, work with the tariff, freight and duty calculations and other
similar exercises.
- The training is designed to produce better understanding through
experience, and not for specific educational success.
- All sessions are designed to assist delegates to develop skills while
continually increasing awareness.
- During the course all delegates will become involved with personal
presentation and written communication skills also addressing groups etc, to
prepare them for the actual face to face contact with customers.
