An introduction to the role of computers in forwarding and applications to
which they can be put, skills in using same to help control business and
profitability will be demonstrated through hands on experience. Personal
Computing items include the role of Word Processing, Spreadsheets,
Databases, Presentational Computing etc. Customs entries and data collection
via email, the Internet Web Forms and direct data download. This course
requires that PC's be available for "hands on" experience.
DTI - EMAIL the Internet Cargo Tracking and Tracing and Communications
aspects of international freighting today.
